Yeah, I finally got the chance to try Sony Vegas! But I made a rather simple video because I'm still learning how to handle this program
However, this one is about Sméagol and Déagol and their tragic story. It isn't easy to make a video about someone who appears only in one single chapter! But I hope someone will like my work, though.
Song: Asleep by The Smiths
Lyrics:
Sing me to sleep
Sing me to sleep
I'm tired and I
I want to go to bed
Sing me to sleep
Sing me to sleep
And then leave me alone
Don't try to wake me in the morning
'Cause I will be gone
Don't feel bad for me
I want you to know
Deep in the cell of my heart
I will feel so glad to go
Sing me to sleep
Sing me to sleep
I don't want to wake up
On my own anymore
Sing to me
Sing to me
I do''t want to wake up
On my own anymore
Don't feel bad for me
I want you to know
Deep in the cell of my heart
I really want to go
There is another world
There is a better world
Well, there must be
Well, there must be
Well, there must be
Well, there must be
Well ...
Bye bye
Bye bye
Bye ...
Have you read The Hobbit? Because if you read The Hobbit and read everything it tells you why Sméagol is called Gollum when he's a creature. It's actually the noise that he makes that gave him the name, and it sounds like "gollum", hence his name!

@superLOTRgirl Ah, yes, of course. :)
But do you know if there's also a meaning of "Gollum"? Sméagol and Déagol have both a meaning: Sméagol means something like "to bury/dig oneself in", further "to hide" and Déagol means something like "secret", the secret that Gollum keeps.

The movie/book and the way Shméagol acts make him look bad and evil, but when you know everything about what happened, you really start to kind of feel sorry for him...BTW do u know why they call him Gollum?

@superLOTRgirl That's why I made this video. To me, Sméagol is a pitiful creature and his and Déagol's story is just sad. And I must say that I like them both very much!
Well, the only thing I suppose to know is that the name Gollum comes from the end of the name Sméagol but neither do I know the real meaning of Gollum nor do I exactly know why they call him that way. Do you?
