PlusTeen: Columbine-style Attack Plan Was Just TalkTeen: Columbine-style Attack Plan Was Just TalkThe Associated PressA 16 year old who pleaded guilty last month to planning a Columbine-style attack at a northern Indiana high school told a judge Tuesday that he never intended to carry out the attack. (July 15)[Notes:ANCHOR VOICE] An Indiana teen that pleaded guilty to planning a Columbine-style attack on this school told a judge that he never actually intended to carry out the plot.He went on to say that taking someone else's life was something he could never do.Those comments came during a court appearance on Tuesday. He also said that he was sorry for the anxiety he'd caused his community and that he isn't the same person who wrote plans for the massacre back in April. The 16 year old has been ordered to spend an unspecified amount of time in a juvenile correctional facility. His release date will be up to the state's Department of Correction...and that could come any time between now and his 21st birthday.Authorities say the boy and and an Ohio man named Lee Billi had been exchanging emails on MySpace about mass murders at Penn High and another location on September 11th...and that the teen had researched how to make a propane tank bomb. The teen pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder. Billi has pleaded *not* guilty to several charges including conspiracy to commit murder.

  • they were bullied...and looked down upon. just not to the extent to commit mass murder. eric was a psychopath and dylan was depressed and suicidel. being bullied was not in fact the main reason but it did influence to some extent.

  • lol @ just talk. you dont joke about mass killings at schools, kid.

  • Nahh they Were just fucked in the head and were pushed to far.

  • omg eric was fucking popular and crazy, dylan was shy and depressed, fucking god damn GUYS READ COLUMBINE!

  • it doesn't matter if they were bullied or if they were depressed or psychopaths...it doesn't really matter because what they did on April 20, 1999 is not a good enough excuse...don't make excuses for them they knew what they were doing...and now their dead and so are the other innocent classmates and teacher. it doesn't matter why they did it or what they were feeling...it wont change what happened so stop fighting about it.

  • jeez people who cares why they did it is it going to really change what happend

  • There is so many people that are or have currently been bullyed continuously. if you really think that just being bullyed or made fun of gives you the urge to kill 13 innocent people then you are not thinking straight. Yes bullyed. bullying incouraged depression and anger. but the urge to kill was their psychotic nature

  • That's what I was trying to say! C:

  • they were bullied but not to the extent that the news and other people below me believe it was. craig scott...rachels brother. even said that they were bullied and looked down upon and there is a video of them walking the halls with a camera and getting pushed. BUT BULLYING WAS NOT THE MAJOR INFLUENCE. ERic was a psycho path and dylan was clincally depressed because his life was not as good as others. IF BULLYING was the main isssue they would of killled all jocks
