@LedWhisky69 Military strategies can flaw economic strategy. Before you bash my credibility for being a Ron Paul supporter I have won more than 16 of 21 debates over economic issues, civil disputes, foreign policy, domestic policy, homosexual marriage/military, etc. By staying in Germany & the hundreds of other countries we are in we aren't there for free. We pay them BILLIONS ANNUALLY. I wrote about it in my "Imploding Theory". If you'd like, I can send it to you. It all comes down on citizens

if you were a smart guy i might have given you an answer, but having a look at you ,
you seem to have the same IQ as rol paul there for a total waste of time

@IAMshredrmk We need OUR military there. It's has little to do with defending Germany, specifically. After WWII and the Cold War, we need military bases around the world in key areas that allow us to get a foothold much quicker. Otherwise, history just has a way of repeating itself.

Israel can take care of itself, they have proved that. We have their back if required just not their front lines.
-
@LedWhisky69 Germany has their own military and a well prepared one at that. Collaboration with an ally is all that is required.

The idea that you raise of not supporting Israel because we have some here that might not want to support them is absurd. We surely have those that would be against it. But if we decided what or who to defend around the world based on individual like and dislikes we would never do anything. If we did it that way then we wouldn't help earthquake victims in Haiti, or tsunami victims in Indonesia because there would be someone who didn't want to. This is why we elect what SHOULD be trusted leaders.

@IlluminatingFilms So, if you'd like to conversation to be over with, despite it never really beginning, that's just fine with me. It's apparent that on the internet AKA "the lunatic asylum", my words and statements are utterly wasted on the likes of you. Revisionist historians and conspiracy theorists simply can't be reasoned with, so why bother trying? Point is, I don't even have to. Ron Paul is finished in this race and to expend any further energy on him or you is a waste of my time.

@IlluminatingFilms "Intelligence plays a huge role in our conversation & if I receive an intelligent statement back, maybe we can keep talking."
I haven't yet received an intelligent statement from you, so this consersation has never really begun. You sound like Ron Paul's campaign manager and simply parrot the same old false propaganda that everyone else does. You speak of a "perfect record", but that is a joke. Ron Paul is a proven hypocrite and a liar. The example I gave is just one.

@LedWhisky69 ...the idea of the war, do they not? Ron Paul is a man of peace, but when there is a credible, CREDIBLE THREAT, he acts like a leader should. He wanted it to be about getting those who did the 9/11 attacks. It's silly how Dr. Paul has a perfect record & maybe two bumps so people call him out on it, because it's all they got. Haha. This conversation is over. Intelligence plays a huge role in our conversation & if I receive an intelligent statement back, maybe we can keep talking.

@LedWhisky69 He has been for thirty years. Consistent with his side. Yes, he voted to give the president power to go to war, but he warned them that it could not develop into the occupation it turned into today. Going to Afghanistan was supposed to be about getting Bin Laden but it failed miserabley & he wasn't even there. Doctor Paul made one bad mistake. Just one. Answer me this, how many times have the other candidates flip flopped their views? They vote Patriot Act? NDAA? They support....
Why do we have troops in Germany? Because it gives us a vantage point. Do you not know anything about military strategy? Of course not. You're a Ron Paul supporter, afterall.
Now, answer me one question. Are you gay? Your lisp sure makes you sound gay.

@LedWhisky69 Should China be allowed to keep military personnel in the U.S. for a "vantage point?" I believe the military strategy of a strong national defense and treating others how we would want to be treated. Funny thing is that individuals such as Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and John Adams, among others, held the exact same beliefs.
Show me where in the Constitution the U.S. has the authority to maintain military bases all around the world and we'll talk.
