  • my -12v is acctually -16.97v is this bad?

  • @uut0 , that does nto sound right, should be anywhere from 11volts to 13volts, thats too high.

  • what would be the first thing you should buy when trying to upgrade your existing pc to a gaming pc?

  • Depends on what parts you have already to upgrade. Most people will upgrade the CPU and Video Card first.

  • but wouldn't i need the power supply before the video card?

  • It depends on how old your power supply is. Maybe not.

  • Why are your idle voltages higher than your load volts?

  • I've had this PSU for over a year, it hasn't failed at all, but..my biggest complaint is actually the rebate, YOU WILL NEVER GET IT ! I WAS to get a $80 rebate no dice ! I hope it doesn't blow up, I'm going to 2X EVGA GTX 480 SLI, if the PSU goes, I'll go with Corsair or Antec .

  • According to SpeedFan 4.39 my -12v rail is -16.97 as well + my -5v is -8.78 do you know if this would cause random crashes and restarts and if there is any way to remedy it? my psu is a Corsair 750TX so if its broken i could send it in but im not sure if that means its broken

  • is there anything that i can do about it except changing the psu?

  • It's really a shame that they decided to cheap out on the capacitors in the Ripper

(They use "REC" brand capacitors on the primary)

Everything else about it is pretty good

  • my thermaltake psu loooks exactly the same as this one

  • did u do a vid on

    ur cable management?

    if u haven't could u?

  • To put it in simple terms: If you don't have enough power to run your computer, it won't work.
