@allblackls did yo ujust say over 30mpg on highway because mine used to get 24mpg highway with a 3.4" pulley and just a k&n filter with kr @ high rpm.

sounds like a moaning cat

why dont you have a drivers information center gauge and your miles gauge working??

Theres a few things that might skew the results. Once is the fact that when i upload the video's to you-tube its not always 100% as far as time and sound etc. also, the camera is held at the steering wheel. I hit 100 mph when you see it around 97 because of the angled view

The gears are longer because it only has 4.

@BrettxBAZ71195 this engine is big with a broad torque curve as u can see it doesn't need to rev to pull speed. max torque from the factory is I believe only 2400 rpm.

Is it just me or are the gears reallllly long on this?

@gconneely92 the gears are very long. helps the car get over 30 mpg highway. the engine has the torque to pull the car at really any rpm so it doesn't need the short gears at all. all supercharged models came with 2.93 final drive. comp-G's came with 3.69 which is a common mod on these cars when installing a new transmission

People should stop using the Youtube clocks and try using the stopwatch on their cellphones. I got almost exactly 12.5 seconds 0-100. And almost exactly 5.2 seconds 0-60. Nice run! Are you getting any KR with these mods? I have a supercharged 04 Monte Carlo and want to drop to either a 3.4". I was thinking of doing headers, 3" downpipe, Overkill PCM, and a 180* stat. Do you think that will be enough for a 3.4" pulley or should I not go below a 3.5"? I can't get higher then 91 octane fuel.

@codymiller1994 hey thanks yes id say a 3.4" would be ok but you still may get blips of KR like i was always getting which could not be tuned out even after going custom tune with HPtuner. 3.5" would be a safe bet and worse case you could bump up timing more then the 3.4 to make the car run better with better mpg's
