Hi...fellow drifter here....
They are not trying to drift. This is a Bmw course to teach them how to handle oversteer and they are testing the stability and traction control of the car.

that is not an oversteer...
nice try

Isn't that understeer? with oversteer at the end?

Traction Control = FAIL

the person didn't know how to do it properly. besides he/she was a little late on the gas. 325 would have easily done that especially on water :)

power oversteer sucks

ok cool.. sorry for the misunderstand.. im thinking of might joining the club because if it is rm1000.. that is cheap.

that is not the way to oversteer.. u have to go about 60km.. release the throttle.. then make a full throttle.. make the tail when out release the throttle..catch the drift.. and make half throttle and balance.. thats how it works.. hey.. how much is the class huh?
jdsim is right. The training session was basic defensive driving, in this case, how to control oversteering (via 'lift-off'). Most of the exercises were done below 60kmph. Second tier training, if I'm not mistaken, is done above 60-80kmph.
The class was around RM1000. I'd say it was worth every penny, especially since it's essentially one step towards getting an advanced drivers license or even qualify as a track racer.
