Film song recorded from Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation ( Radio Ceylon) and the audio was superimposed on the video.I think this audio is better than the audio available on vdo cd . What say ?

@rmeshc What u remember was Vijayalaxmi. She was on Radio Ceylon for longest period ,for 16 years ! The announcer u r listening is Jyoti Parmar. One more famous announcer was ( is) Padmini Parera .Regards

@amrutvani2: There is one mistake. Radio Ceylon back to late 60's it was Radio Ceylon Ke Bayapar Bibhag on 25 meter band 11,840 Kiloharts & 41 meterband 7,190 Kiloharts. So Far I remember, in early 70 it changed to Sreelanka Broacasting Corporation's Videsh Bibhag. @Sindukolla: The name of the announcers 1.Gopal Sharma 2.Shiv Kumar Saroj 3.Dharam Dhillan. Sorry I forgot names of Lady announcers.Gopal Sharma got married 1966 ,he went to Bombay and published a Magazine FILMAHIMA

What wonderful memories! We listened daily to Radio Ceylon All Asia Medium on short wave. My home in Kotugoda was just 2 mls from the transmitter (in Ceylon). Both Hindi & English channels were very clear, clearer than local channels transmitted from Colombo. We didn't have electricity @ home; so had a battery (Eveready or Berec) operated radio.
