In 2005 Colin was commissioned by Theatre Le Maillon Strasbourg France to create a film /concert work. Thanks to the support of ScreenSound Australia he was able to combine footage from the 1928 silent film masterpiece For the term of his natural life with video art by Yeh Yilan to make a meditation on colonialism, landscape and identity. The work features his incredible original instruments, double flutes, Khene Isaan and Jaws harp plus some amazing singing. http://www.colinofford.com

  • are you using a mic or is this the acousics of the hall?

  • I am using a DPA lavalier mic...clipped onto my shirt. the theatre was very large with a good resonant sound and the sound system was excellent. lai Falang!
