@spkngrmn There was a Democratic budget for FY2012, which according the CBO, would put us on a sustainable path long before the Ryan Plan and is thus far more likely to in reality. It is called the People's Budget. You probably haven't heard of it because the Republicans and the mainstream media through a temper tantrum and said "No, No, No! We aren't discussing this at all! Not no way! Not no how!"

@gatorhighlights4 Bernie is a moron (like yourself). He lacks the understanding in Tax policy to even talk about the issue. The "Corporate Welfare" and "Tax Credits for Corporations" are items that YOU personally approve of, and ones that Bernie voted for. Tax credits for childcare in the company, educational benefits to employees, vet employment, evironmental clean up and green policies, medical benefits to employees. These are just some of the credits that you want, but decry! MORON!!

@gatorhighlights4 Yes the military industrilal complex is way out of control. The mic, the oil companies, and the government are all entangled. No wonder they hate us, we steal their oil. Now we r focused on iran.

Where"s the Senate budget Bernie?
900+ days since a budget was passed... we're growing old waiting for it. How about addressing that issue before taking anything else up for consideration.

@maxmann521 And don't forget corporations who sometimes not only don't pay any taxes, they get tax CREDITS, all while raking in record profits. This is a huge problem, maxmann.
We exploit average citizens to give tax breaks and credits to big companies and wealthy individuals. People who say there's a "redistribution of wealth" in America today are 100% right: it's being taken from average Americans and distributed up to the top. Record profits for companies and record poverty at the same time.

@maxmann521 I've known about Paul since the early 90s. I know what he says and there are many things on which he and I would agree (destroying the military industrial complex and repealing the Patriot Act, for examples) but this is not about "taxing the rich." The problem, and I've explained this to you a couple of times, is that the middle and lower classes pay MORE as a share of their income to taxes than people who make 100 and 1000 times their salary. That's an inequality that needs fixing.
-
@gatorhighlights4 On top of that, Ron Paul says that taxing the rich is not the solution. Do u know who Ron Paul is gator?

I spent 7 years on subs in the US NAVY and I hope they do not cut the pay to any VET or active duty if any thing give them a huge raise!
