http://www.TripleThreatMuscle.com/ As part of a recent conditioning day we mixed this exercise into a circuit with a handful of others. This can also be used as a finisher at the end of a regular strength training workout. A good challenge is to pick a number (50-100) and set a timer. Then race to that number. Try to beat your time the following week.

Try to ignore the silly, high pitched cackle at the beginning. If you do these right you won't be laughing.

  • We might do these for a timed block of 6-10 minutes and record how many reps do then try to beat it next week. Or I may just prescribe a certain number of sets and reps. On this particular day we did three sets of 12.

  • It depends on the situation/ athlete. Sometimes we do something like this as a finisher, other times we do conditioning on off days and other times we do both options.

    If you have limited time to train I recommend doing a finisher like this at the end of your strength training workouts.
