@lcplhart it's a hackle, one of the story why they wear it is during a battle the regiment wore goose/duck feathers, after the fight the blood was ankle/knee heaight, they dipped the tip into the enemies blood. (not sure how true the story is or the exact account), the fusilliers are however a fearsome regiment, just like the rifles and other infantry regiment, they're as hard as nails and very good fighters
