@Bamboomonkey24 sorry, but in my opinion there are only two anthems that should be allowed to be playd at events. those are Canada's and USA.

@piffmonger so you know all the 200+ national anthems to be making such a statement i assume? if not, then that's a really ignorant statement. also, it would be kind of silly to play the national anthem of canada during afl games in... AUSTRALIA, don't you reckon? exactly.

@mr1000rx You couldn't beat us even with our Full Forward sitting on the bench for 3 quarters.This was our coach's FIRST season. How long has Mickey Mouse been doing it for now?

We lost Ablett and Bomber Thompson, we've got an aging player list, a first year coach and then in the Granny we lose J-pods. Oh yeah and we just chose to leave out Milburn and Mooney.

The only way the Cats could have made it easier for Collingwood would be if they didn't show up.

"Too old, too slow, too bloody good!" Was used for hawthorn in the late 80's... That was a team that was too old, this geelong side is still quite young. Sure they have Ling, Scarlett etc but they still have Menzel, Christiansen etc... It might sound like I hate geelong but I actually like them, I have had a geelong membership for 3 years although hawthorn is my number 1 team

@jasonolds442 Wow. That's awesome. I had no idea. I actually wish they showed more American sports here, we get NFL, NBA, MLB and NASCAR on free to air tv, but as of yet no Hockey. I play hockey here and I just know if they put a few games on and people saw it they would be like "This is crazy!"

About all I can do is download the stanley cup game, just waiting for New Jersey or the Capitals to get in to the finals. New Jersey's my favourite team but I love Ovechkin! He is god on ice! lol

@frankovich213 Believe it or not, in the early years of ESPN in the USA, all they showed was the VFL and auto racing as it was the only sports they could afford. I watched the Carlton Blues when they were winning all the time in the early 80s. I'm happy to see it's a lot easier to see Aussie Rules again.
