@audisport its only like .1lbs heavier...not much difference...and i think the bigger screen is a lot better cuz both are desktop replacements anyway..:)

@MrJABB69 Yea actually I want to get the asus G53 but it's not out yet. I prefer the 15.6 inch monitor, but Bestbuy is only selling the G72 and G73 right now. Apart from it being a bigger and heavier laptop, the only thing that worries me is the overheating issue. But since you said not to worry about it, i might get the G72, since It's $300 bucks cheaper and also a powerful laptop

@audisport card, (2) intel core 2 duo...it just has alot lol its good man,trust me...and idk how bulky the 73 is..i've never seen it in person..but the 72 isn't that bulky...its a little heavy though lol but all in all man i would get the 72...my personal opinion...but hey its your choice man..they both cost about the same I think.. lol sorry about the length..I hope I helped =)

@audisport The performance is phenomenal!!! I've never had any problems with it over-heating...on the other hand it does get very hot after you have it on for hours lol but anything gets hot after a while right? Naturally the g73 is going to be cooler,it has two fans,the 72 only has one....to me the looks are alot better than the 73...as for the performance aspect idk about how the 73 works..but im guessing since its new its better???? idk but the 72 comes with nvidia geforce gtx 260m graphic

@MrJABB69 Is the G72Gx performance pretty good? Does it overheat more than the g73? And it looks ike g73 is more bulky is it right?
