We got a decent amount of snow here the past couple of days, so I thought I would take our old 48 Ford out and play around a bit. Hope you guys enjoy it. Thanks for watching and Merry Christmas!!

  • what happened at around 1:47? looks like the 4wd quit out on you

  • @SaGalv I have a big extended shifter on the transfer case and when I whipped it around I knocked it out of gear somehow. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out what was going on.

  • Hi, love the truck! I'm curious. I have a 1952 Mercury 1-ton pickup with very few miles. I want to convert it to 4X4....what did you use for a donor and did you have to cut the frame, or make major modifications?

  • @martincpeterson I'm sure there are a lot of ways to go about it, but mine is all F150/F250 underneath. Most of the parts are from 1977-1978...the frame, engine, trans, transfer case...everything. It was the least complicated way to put it all together. Maybe I'll do a more complete video of how it's put together one of these days. Thanks for watching!

  • sweet truck! did u almost take out that stump?

  • @Roadman4you No, it's just the camera angle, the stump wan't nearly as close as it looked. Thanks for watching!

  • @DaBigKoasta It's just a rebuilt 351M..it's fairly mild. It has a grey cloth bench seat. The door panels and dash are all painted metal.

  • Sick! One in a milli shot boi! What color is the interior? Did you get a crate or rebuild>?

  • @pfleeger2010 I agree, but the tires I have on it are practically brand new. I'm just going to keep using them for now.
