The most versatile and flamboyant organist in the world, with technique like Horowitz and wardrobe like Liberace, Cameron Carpenter unveils his designs for a new kind of instrument. At EG4 (2010) in Monterey, http://the-eg.com.
Just to clarify, I didn't know this was showing an electronic instrument since I had not read the description. But the first key he pressed, I knew... this is a terrible sounding organ. It is plain, lacks brilliance, and sounds like transistor technology. The combination action, three manuals, and very realistic console style would make it a good practice instrument, but definitely not a performance instrument.
It's a Viscount...icky.

@OrganNLou Also this recording is Mono which doesn't help the cause.
However Hauptwerk would beat this hands down, this to me sounds dead.

@virtuose60 Yes Hauptwerk would leave this for dust.

@JRSoubasse That's an ignorant statement. Virgil would be his biggest fan.

He will never measure up to the greatest organist of all time, Dr. Virgil Fox!
