THIS IS JOE!!!

Every second of Joe singing that we still have is priceless. Listen to the guy sing, he is not mailing it in, he is gutting it out.
-
sometimes i think that this version is just as good as the released one

I got "Cut the Crap" somewhere in the 80s. It's still solid rubbish. The whole Album.

I saw the 3 times and the last time this line up not anywhere as good as original come to fuck Joe and Paul knew that, thats why they jogged it on..Anyway they gave me my moral compass they are my spirituality and strength in this life of struggle.Thank you Joe-Paul-Mick-Topper sorry the other dudes dont even know their names-Session players to me...Good version though.

yeah, a wee bit lost and paul knows it by the look in his eyes. this was the best song this incarnation did by far. sheffield steel and how i feel is a great couplet. They do look so dated here you're right. actual clash pics just have a timeless quality about them this is 80's culture club styling. ah well we got this song, and then joe went and did mighty fine work so just a stepping stone.

@JoesRamone it is a good version but I disagree. Mick Jones was the dead dog on a string that forgot what job the Clash set out to do. Joe's words, not mine.

I met Joe after a gig once and tried to talk to him about the lyrics in one of the end verses of this version (I heard it on a bootleg). My take it on it was something to do with a bike called a BSA Shooting Star 'motorbike!! I hear the spirit of a one time fine machine, back from the dead , that's a ghost and I said scream, I pump in 500 from the middle scream. The Shooting Six goes bye like a stars on my windscreen' anyone??
