Data - Queen Mix

DATA fue una banda formada por LALO PAREDES, SAUL TERRY y RAUL IBARRA que hizo sus pininos en el año 1988 como cualquier banda de San Miguel. De ellos solo quedó Saúl Terry e Iván Abanto. A ellos se sumó Lalo Paredes de Breña y Percy Blest del Callao... caminaron buen trecho con esta formación hasta que, tras la salida de Ivan Abanto y Percy se suma Lito Valencia y Raúl Ibarra. Se puede decir que esta formación es la que realmente la gente que siguió a esta banda peruana conoció, pues si bien es cierto que sus inicios fueron bastante progresivos, encontraron en el rock clásico un nicho para dar a conocer sus talentos. Fue cuando muere Fredy Mercury de Queen que incluyen mas repertorio de esta banda británca. Sus seguidores los coronaron como la banda peruana que mejor emulaba a Queen y por ello estuvieron presentes en todo evento que se diga importante en Lima, desde teletones, conciertos en las playas hasta la Tercera edición del DIA DEL ROCK NACIONAL. En 1994 cristalizan el primer disco con temas propios luego de 3 años de caminar por todo el Perú con la camiseta de Rock Clásico y específicamente con el sello de Queen. Sus seguidores no los aceptaron con su música propia, ellos quería seguir escuchando en las cuerdas vocales de Saúl los timbres de Freddy ... Ello motivó la desintegración de la banda luego de 5 años íntegros de Unión. En esta última etapa DATA fue trío, Lalo Paredes ( Guitarra y Coros), Raúl Ibarra (Batería) y Saúl Terry (Voz y Bajo).
Este video fue el único material rescatable de aquella recordada banda.
Los músicos de apoyo que pasaron por ésta banda en escenario fueron Marco Mazzini, Henry Ueunten, Juan Carlos Fernandez, Pepe Céspedes, Jose Carlos Valdivia, Elizabeth Cárdenas, Shanny; y en grabación estuvieron Nestor Benitez, Jorge Durand, Armando Pattroni, Leyla Parra, Juan Carlos Palacios, Julio Caipo, por mencionar algunos .....

DATA was a band formed by LALO PAREDES, RAUL IBARRA SAUL TERRY and made their Pinino in 1988 as any band from San Miguel. Of these only was Saul Terry and Ivan Abanto.
