These scenes just rip through me like a buzz-saw... For 32 years, I followed this show through thick and thin, and no couple did I enjoy more than Goldin/Ehlers. When Gus died in MAR 2008, it signified the end of the show for me. This only highlighted the colossal mess GL was in ... I only hope the crackerjack show-killers Wheeler/Kreizman take solace in the knowledge they drove the longest running show off-the-air, no matter what self-serving spin they put on it...

I can totally understand why Harley left the show, this scene would have been more heartbreaking (if possible) if Gus and Harley were together. I wish they could have been reunited!

Yep, when he told her she was the love of his life, too I lost it. I cried like a baby and I was pretty peeved at GL for ending GusH this way.
