@sirHOAX Not sure what extruded aluminum your refering to. All steel frame. Heat pipes do not work like a flat plate. Even on cloudy days, the system gets the water over 100 degrees. I am glad that I put them on the ground...easier to work on and I can remove snow so they can work all winter! Thanks for the comment!
where did you find the extruded aluminum? local distributor? Nice set-up. Considering we had such a sunny winter this past one, would pay to have them on my roof. Most of the winters in the past have been gray for the most part over here in Long Island, NY. Either way still would pay itself off quick I'm sure in the summer months. Guess if your in a mountainous area the sun is out more in the winter, or no? Just curious.
