You fail to address or grasp the points I am making about yet another expedition to Everest. All human contact with the wilderness should be stopped. I believe that males (specifically white males) undertake expeditions to Everest and such places because of selfishness. Their motives are predicated on colonialism and the urge to prove superior to nature witness Ranulph Fiennes and his ilk who have made a living out of visiting foreign undiscovered places just like Dr Livingstone (I presume).

The guy doesn't claim scientific validity. He wanted that lifestyle, he found a place where he is useful, with inspiring landscape, interesting people.
Ecological disaster? from a few guys using only durable high-end gear??? It's the disposable crap that pollutes, even the recycled one.

What is the scientific validity of yet another expedition to Everest? This is not about the advancement of science but more about the selfish preoccupations of white males who feel the need to prove their hairy chested manliness. You have created an ecological disaster at Everest and put the lives of members of the Himalayan Rescue Association at
risk. I call for a moratorium on all further ventures into Everest - WHO IS WITH ME?
