The first time you hear the tires squeal is the perfect autoX drift IMO, I just didn't get close enough to the cones. Anyway, as you saw, I lifted, swung the rear, straightened at the right time and pinned the throttle and rocketed out of the corner without losing much speed.

The second squeelfest was the one where I do the 180deg close to the camera is the lame way to do it: too much angle and too slow. At least I was sliding from entry to exit.

The last corner is just the fail way of doing it- spinning out! But hey, like I said, I'm not perfect.

  • 2300lbs ain't heavy. Well, it may be heavy where the drive wheels are, but that's an advantage.

My grip is that it's just powerless.

  • i love my 88 SC :)

  • how much does it cost for a carbon fibre hood?

  • The AW looks so nible compared to the SW! Beautiful car and beautiful driving!

  • damn, drifting an mr. hella savage

  • Damn fine driving in an AW11 if I ever was to see it. I find that full lock comes on alot quicker than anyone would imagine in an AW11. An extra 5 degree's of steering lock would make the car untouchable on the auto-x courses and even more controlled in a drift only enviroment. Keep it up, not alot of us AW11 drifters/auto-x'ers/drivers around. We need to keep the AW culter alive and well!!

  • i like the finish

  • nice first 2 drifts =) too bad you oversteer in the last part.. would have been awesome to make a perfect lap ;D

I have a 3.8 sec 0-60 AW11 myself, it's not a good drift car, as the turboed 3SGTE engine it so easy to throttle.

A good drift car has around 300 like mine, but NA or SC.. not turbo like mine.

Anyway good job. You'll do mostly power overdrives in a less powered car, so it's harder to hold the balance from entering the drift, holding it and exiting.

  • these cars are great fun to drive and own, but they aren't really made to drift at high speeds, they're physics make it tough, they are faster in a grip setting. But don't buy one if you want a drag car, these are momentum type fast. Like a miata.

  • THAT car is heavy?

that thing is nothing compared to the sc300 i drive. drifts really good though lol.

  • second best aw11 drifter in the country
