Astronomy Class for Beginners, Burlington, NJ

This class is open to anyone interested in learning about astronomy. Classes are held in Wilbur Watts school every Tuesday night from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. for eight weeks starting September 29, 2009. Class also meets out "in the field" to enjoy the universe firsthand under dark skies and through a telescope. There is still time to register. Come and join us!

Actually, I naively did. I did teach two small sections of this class before. I was just trying to reach a wider audience. The other classes offered (and for as much money) include quilting and yoga, and there is no reason why they should be inherently more appealing or worth the $80. I conclude it is the bad economy and poor marketing. But tell me how 8 2-hour classes for $80 is not a bargain ($10/class) where I use and lug my own thousands of dollars of telescope gear out in the field?
