Li'l Beethoven and Hello Young Lovers are both terrific albums. Sparks don't give a shit about making music just to make people like them, they do what they like doing and that's why people follow them.

oh man, their "techno-ey" stuff is the best! if you haven't heard Lil' Beethoven, it's their best album. They've really been doing a ton of experimenting with cheeky, spoken-word sarcasm and musical stasis since Gratuitous Sax.
