@squigglesy chromatic is when each half step is played. this strimstick in in a major scale. chromatic frets are the same distance apart whereas chromatic ones skip some in order to play a whole scale, thus eliminating the chance of playing a wrong note ( do re me fa so la ti do)

@squigglesy Yes, that's a thing i'll never understand..
Frets in this way can play only one major scale and a minor scale for a string.. But this is for the lower octave: then the frets change disposition and allows to do somtehing more.
BUT WHY??? it's so easy with all the chromatic frets.. why this complicance?!?

i paid $150 for my "grand strumstick," which is 1/2 octave lower than the regular strumstick. the regular strumstick sells for about $140, as i recall.
