  • This is a great performance if you ignore all the oasis groupies who are pathetic and could not spot a classic like this if it hit them in the face and dont get me wrong oasis have good tunes just the crowd isckealry here for wonderwall the absolute bunch of cunts

  • even if they dont like the manics, they have to admire the great vocal and musical ability of all involved in the manics!

  • You can't really blame JDB for his musical mistakes. The band were still shaken by Richeys disappearance and trying to prove to their fanbase (the very few who were at this gig) and everyone else that they were still a unit, they were playing to Oasis fans who didn't really give two-shits about the Manics and would chant "Where the fuck is Richey?" and they were adapting to a new "mainstream" sound as opposed to their darker, previous album.

  • this is a very low energy performance compared to how james usually gives it up

  • @caraticus12 This was their first song for the gig, as for the crowd, have a look at their reaction to Australia, superb

  • @manutd798 What are you on about? The Manics love Liverpool, they even wrote a song attacking the South Yorkshire police for their role at Hillsborough.

  • Hahahaa, what's he singing at 2:03 - 2:11 ? Poor, James. He forgot his lines!

  • Will this song ever get boring? To all who are saying this is for an Oasis gig; you're wrong, it was the Hillsborough Justice gig in 97 where these, The Beautiful South, Lightning Seeds, Stereophonics, Dodgy, Space and Smaller performed...at the time of this gig; Oasis were doing promo work for Be Here Now.

  • i bet they just wanted to tell the the crowd to get fucked

  • The crowd really are'nt going for it are they? Wrong crowd for this type of music or at this time of day. JDB looks genuinely overawed. Must be hard to sell a song about the emptiness of consumer culture and modern living to a crowd expecting cigarettes and alcohol. Good try though.

  • @daziel6
