At James Randi's The Amaz!ng Meeting in January 2007, I had to humiliate myself due to a lost bet. And Hubble wept. The graphics don't show up well on YouTube, unfortunately, but they chronicle the sadness.

    Clones! The only logical explanation!

  • LOL! That's funny, misterfaces, but be aware that sarcasm doesn't always translate well into text. Also, not everyone knows who Phil Plait is (strangely enough).

Exactly. I'm a Christian and honestly I'm not a strict creationist. Maybe God guided our evolution and in some aspects allowed other creatures to evolve freely.

  • is it odd that atheist display a zealous intolerance to non atheist that mirrors the intolerance they ascribe to "believers"

I don't argue existence of god with anyone anymore...it's like trying to teach a pig to sing....you waste your breath and annoy the pig. best to allow them the right to their own beliefs. and only engage when it's a mutually respectful discussion with people who just want to share ideas, not win an argument.

Back to the Vid, nice to know humor lives in the lab.

  • @99thmonkee erm.... okay.... little hole in your idea there.... who was the 'creator' when there were no conscious beings? Is this one of those trees falling in the woods things?

  • Yeah right...lets hand the vote only to deluded idiots who think an invisible magic man in the sky should be worshiped...

Well that sorta tells us where this guys vote should go! I'd rather be ruled by a fucking megalomaniac like hitler than face another golden era of 'the dark ages'

    sheesh!

  • E pur si muove... great. This is hilarious.

  • Very funny.

  • Every now and then, I remember how good a speaker Phil is.

Just so long as he doesn't stand next to Neil Degrasse Tyson, of course!

  • Skephalopod!
