HiDef: The SD Evolution - Knoxville Area Trains 11/26/11

On a short but fruitful trip to Knoxville for some railfanning with Floridian railfan Joe Robinson (cobras84robinjd), S-Line Productions managed to catch some action on both CSX and Norfolk Southern. As a special surprise, nearly every modern-day example of EMD's SD-series locomotives came our way, with the exception of the SD50. A grand total of 3 SD40-2's, 1 SD60, 1 SD70MAC, 1 SD80MAC, and 1 SD9043AC can be seen (and heard) in this short clip. Along with the usual GE's (including an intriguing trio of Norfolk Southern's new ES44AC's) and an EMD Geep-38, this is certainly one of the best short-on-time outings that we've had yet! Enjoy!

@csxcw44ac I'm not sure, but it might be a limestone train that comes out of Lutrell, TN several days a month.  Unfortunately I don't know its destination.
