You're no mystery to me, boy...I USED TO BE YOU i.e. a union stooge. And last I checked, you're working without a contract as of right now. You're a Verizon employee, so I sincerely hope you get the best deal possible. Just make sure you don't cut your nose off to spite your face.

Umm, I have news for YOU...I AM VZ non-exempt management. I have and always will get time and a half for every hour of overtime I am required to work during your strike. Only EXEMPT management employees work extra hours on salary.

Of course there will be...you will not be working!!! But don't worry, the Verizon non-exempt management employees earning 32 hours of overtime and doubling their pay during your strike will be sure to thank you when (if?) this is all over...
You may want to do some history research on how strikes can affect entire towns. Hormel employees tried to hard-line a corporation back in the 1980s, and they all ended up selling their homes and looking for new careers.

Umm, I got news for ya, VZ management employees does not get overtime, they get paid a salary.

and for the record, non-exempt management employees do not earn a 'salary', they earn BASE PAY. Here endeth the lesson...
