Then you do know love their roots because Staring Down, although an okay song, is just another off the track of their original. I like the less synthetic, less poppy songs. I want to hear real instruments and rocking tunes. I don't mind 1 Staring Down per record, but 6 or 8 of them is overkill.

are you kidding me??? Staring Down is by far my fav. song on the CD! I cant stop listening to it and I am SO GLAD they released it first! LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!

When I first heard "Staring Down" I was disappointed because I thought it was another big step away from CSoul's rock roots, but after watching this clip I am more confident they are staying true to their sound with the rest of their songs. I do think "Staring Down" should NOT have been the first single though. Anyway, I have every CD and will buy the next one regardless, but it's good to know the boys are touching on their roots more and not over-polishing it like they have been doing lately.
