why would having children help design and maintain their schools gardens and feed themselves and their community be self promotion. Hungry minds do not help children learn. I would ask all folks who care for people , have you ever gone to school hungry, I mean not enough to eat every day. would not a safe local food supply in the community be something you want with food prices rises .
If you are looking for truth come to Africa see 1000's of schools that have gardens.
