Heal The World -- Dae Jang Geum

Heal The World is one of my favourite songs. The chorus goes 'heal the world, make it a better place - for you and for me, and the entire human race'.I have often wondered aloud how, to have people tell me it isn't possible.

But you will see that healing the world begins with sticking up for a friend - and by refusing to stop being one. With smiling at someone in need of encouragement. With speaking truth to power. Forgiveness, trust, conviction. There is a butterfly effect about these things - there is no telling how you might change a person forever, or how far love would go to heal.

And I think what's most amazing is that these things are usually done subtly, in silence. Most of the time there are more tears than glory, and quiet joy in place of fanfare. ("and isn't faith believing, all power can't be seen" - To Where You Are). They slip so naturally out of us we are not aware of them. But what they do for the world - it just goes on and on and on.

Because of Madam Jung demise...I went in to re-look and re-call this beautiful korean drama again. After all these years, It still touches my inner soul. Thanks for making such a wonderful drama and being part of it to make it so memorable.
