Just a project I did for class for the novel, Island of the Blue Dolphins. I had to explain what a "Devil Fish" was. There wasn't much to it. So yea kinda boring but oh well..had to be done.

  • So, what happens in the end of this book?

  • i need to do a diaroma on the scene when they get attacked by the devilfish so i need to know what a devilfish looks like i googled devilfish and all these crazy things appear so thx

  • They say that a devilfidsh is a manta ray.

  • Thanks couse I have to read the book for a book report

  • actually, the term devilfish is a colloquial term for octopus; the fact that a squid was pictured on the cover was just a choice by an editor, not scientific fact. Also, the description in the book is much closer to an octopus.

  • uhh actully its a squid, i found a websit of the book, and it showed the picture of the devil fish, and it was a squid. Octopus have eight arms, and squidhave i think eaight arms, and for sure two long ones and the picture of the book who wrote the book made that website, and she put a picture of a squid
