Hi Bill,
I like the clear plastic holders where the lights are mounted, everything is made so if something fails it can be pulled apart, repaired and popped back together nice and easy.
You put some thought into and it shows, well done, this twin is very nice indeed.

I agree, I think it looks like that too, ha ha. You know, I checked that before disconnecting the second light and, to my eyes anyway, the 2 appear to be as bright as just a single light. I did not check but I am sure the amp draw is higher. Thank for your comments.

Thanks. I think the bulbs were about $10 US each. I do not know what is inside them as I could not get one apart...so I just hooked it up directly to the Edison base and it works. I suspect there must be some circuitry inside similar to a CFL, either that or they have it figured that it takes 120 volts to run those 27 leds. All the schematics are over at overunitydotcom. (Replace "dot" with a "." I really should include those in my videos though, you are correct.

Thank You Very Much Bill. I know what current is. Wheb nine I got glued to the electict stovefffor about seven to 10 seconds. I was the ground for the stove via the refrigerator. So about 35 to 45 Amps coursing though one arm out the other into the fridge. My grand mother tried to pull me off but was sent flying 10 mfeet away. Her second attempt succeeded and I took the oven door with me. I slept for one full day. It was not known that one should not sleep afer such an experience..
Thx

Ouch. That had to hurt. I too have been zapped many times....several times with 440 amp 3 phase.....not fun. I only posted that warning because I didn't want someone that did not know to get hurt. sounds like you have been around the block already.

How did you modify the fuji circuit? I have two fuji cameras and took apart one but have not altered it. Frankly I don't want to burn them out.
It would be appreciated.

@nannerin
Edward, all of the schematics and instructions on how to do this circuit, as well as many others, are over at Overunitydotcom. (Put a period where the dot is) It is easy to do but, be careful this is high voltage and it does bite...trust me on this. Discharge that large cap in a safe, grounded manner even if you never turned on the camera...they still carry a huge punch and can burn right through your skin. Josepinodotcom has some good photos but we improved it.
