Nick's POV

After a few more games, we returned our paintball guns and gear and climbed back into Joe's pick-up. Literally in Liz's case. The girl is so short she actually had to climb in, unlike Megs, Joe and I who just hopped in with ease. As Joe drove us back to the girls houses we talked amongst ourselves, Joe with Liz and Megs with me.
"So you still mad I beat you?" She asked with a smug smile.
"It was beginners luck." I said with a shrug.
"It was so NOT beginners luck!" Megs said trying to sound mad, but her smile gave the fact she was faking it away.
"Whatever you say, it was still pretty fun." I said trying not to argue with her.
"Yeah it was, I know you didn't want to hang with Liz and Joe, but I thought it would be a good idea for you and Joe to try and get along better...and you ended up shooting him." she said and I could help but laugh.
"I'm sorry it don't go like you wanted." I said after I recovered from my laughing fit.
"I had fun, don't be sorry." she said smiling and it was contagious, because I couldn't help but smile around her.
Suddenly the truck was filled with the sound of Down by Jay Sean, Megs and I looked up to see Liz mouthing the words along with the song and dancing in her seat.
"I let her plug in her iPOD." Joe said with a shrug and Megs giggled, dancing around, like Liz, in her seat. I laughed at the sight of this already bubbly girl acting adorably crazy. When Lil Waynes parts came on Liz stopped mouthing along, Im guessing because she didnt know the words, I thought she was finally settling down when I noticed Megs was mouthing his part.
"Even if the sky is falling down like she supposed to be, She gets down low for me, Down like her temperature, cause to me she zero degree, She cold, over freeze, I got that girl from overseas, Now she my miss America, now can I be her soldier please, Im fighting for this girl, Im a battlefield of love, Dont it look like baby cupid sent his arrows from above, Dont you ever leave the side of me, Indefinitely, not probably, and honestly im down like the economy, Yeahhhhhh"
Once Megs finished Liz started again and I couldnt help but laugh. She smiled at me and I willingly smiled back. The song ended soon after that and we all laughed like idiots.
"But I don't care what they say I'm in love with you They try to pull me away But they don't know the truth My heart's crippled by the vein That I keep on closing You cut me open and I Keep bleeding Keep, keep bleeding love I keep bleeding I keep, keep bleeding love Keep bleeding Keep, keep bleeding love You cut me open." my phone blared and we all stopped laughing.

Megan's POV

Everyone got quiet when Nick's phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID even though he knew who it was calling.
"Hey Roch." he said after he flipped his phone open.
"I'm with Joe and Liz...and Megan." he said tentatively, there was a pause.
"We're just on our way back from paintball." he said before another pause.
"Yeah, it was fun, I only got hit a couple times." he said and I turned my head to stare out the window as the trees flew by outside.
"Alright, I'll pick you up tomorrow morning... Love you to." he said and I heard a click. I didn't turn back to face Nick and for the rest of the ride home it was silent in the truck.
