  • A completely stock F250 Powerstroke will get about 17-18 mpg, they way i have my truck not I get 21 highway. A really simple whay to boost your fuel milage is to add some power service fuel additive to your fuel tank everytime you fill up. I noticed that it makes one hell of a difference on both fuel mileage and cold weather starting.

  • on my cold starts i have a little blue smoke. what's causing this?

  • @2stage90 shit my 04 has egr delete 3.5 tb to 4 inch straight pipe with 5inch mbrp tip and 275's and i use fuel additives from ford for the powerstrokes and i only see around 13-14.5 dont know how you are getting 18mpg??

  • On my stone stock 06 I got 18.9 with 285's and diesel kleen in the tank, going 600 miles one way down to Indy. And thats me figuring not the computer tell all on the dash.

  • I have a 06 on a 600 mile highway run with diesel kleen in the tank I got 18.9 MPG's with the cruise set at 70 when I was going to Indy. The city kills the mileage, plus the longer you run them they better they work.

  • sweet

  • I just bought a completly stock 2006 F-350 6.0 liter and im not getting anywhere close to 17-18 mpg. How did you get that fuel mpg?

  • @grangeroo If youre looking to seriously diesel your ranger, I would look into a cummins 4bt. theres hundreds of adapters and mounts specific to rangers. people have been doing that for years. I had a 93ranger 4x4 with the 3.0, and seriously thought about it because it was a dog with 3.73s and 32s, but it was wayyy too nice to hack up. it was like a new truck, so I sold it and bought an f250 with the 7.3 idi. not as nice but hey...

  • @Jacksonkellyfreak Im trying to fit a C7 acert in my ranger now. haha jk

  • @grangeroo some guy over on the ranger stations forums did it. bad ass too.

  • @rsr530 no they dont. vgt bud.
