I listen to Johnny sing this old Gospel song; there's a kind of enthusiasm for death that is absent in his rendition of N.I.N. "Hurt". I realize now that bravado about dying is fairly easy for the youthful, but definitely loses any of its appeal when it comes knocking at your door. Johnny Cash lived a life; he surely did. Still, the great man leaves a thought provoking legacy. Never enough time, I suppose...
