Last night i had to listen to drunken eejits roaring, screaming, shouting and smashing glass bottles outside my bedroom window until 4AM. Which i expect, I mean i live on Sullivan's Quay. But I don't see any protests about this type of behaviour. Clearly the menace in Cork is stoners, what with their staying in giggling at comedies, and supporting local food delivery services. Tut-tut, a disruptive and dangerous lot if ever I saw one.

Relaxing drug laws takes too much political capital for too little gain.

Irish politicians don't like risk.

Ireland has a huge pharma industry, they tend to support anti-drugs associations see for instance the wiki page for "Partnership for a drug free america"

Emigrate, let the oldies wonder why the economy went to shit after they refused to take our opinions into account.

Headshops: who'd be taking dirty spice and meph if there was 100% MDMA and dope dope around? Both safe if regulated.

Absolutely brilliant. People who oppose headshops are generally responding to emotional hysteria that is whipped up everytime there is a discussion on drugs. What they don't realise is that the "highs" sold by headshops are such cack they are probably putting people off drugs for life. Hilarious though.
