i built a guitar when i was thirteen... i had £150 which i spent on mahogany, birdseye and rosewood and the rest i did with my dads old tools. i bought the bridge, pickups and all the hardware 6 months later when i had enough, and now its my favorite guitar.

umm i hardly have any of those tools is there a way to do it with out as much like a saw and a sander XD

Hi Im thinking of making my own gibson les paul replica... I know what parts Im gonna use and how Im gonna assemle it but I dont know how you get the strings on... can anyone please help me ???

hi, nearly finsihed the majority of my guitar now, was wandering if you had the measurement for the depth for humbucker pick up routs, gibson style aswell as the depth of the ears of the pocket

Got my bass done. Thanks so much for all your help. It came out really good, and plays very good. Did it old vanhalen bumble bee colors and stripes and a Gibson thunderbird body shape. Thanks Perry.

Perry, I almost have my bass done, I built it from watching your videos, and it looks pretty good so far, just need to paint it. I hope it plays good. Thanks cause I learned almost everything from your videos.

It's a shame that even when he has such a big workshop, he doesn't build his own necks... (or he just doesn't show to us...) I mean, yeah, great job, but the neck is like the hardest part...
The age doesn't have to do with making guitars by the way...
Before I get to stupid with my comments... I want to say that this is a good film where every step of building guitarbodies has been shown, nice job.

@Explorerrule You should watch some of the other Guit Wild Videos, You can learn how to build a neck.
