From October 6 - 20, Richard Downs will be speaking in major capital cities across Australia. Richard is a spokesperson for the Alyawarr people, who have walked off their community at Ampilatwatja against the NT Intervention and established a protest camp outside the boundaries of the "Prescribed Area".

Supporting Richard through the national tour is Harry Nelson, a senior Warlpiri elder. His community of Yuendumu has also been at the forefront of resistance to the Intervention - holding off the Income Management system for many months in 2008 and now refusing to sign long term leases demanded by the government.

  • White settler society is failing - yet they expect others to follow their delusions of superiority + ever find ways of coercing native Australians to become like themselves - devoid of culture + spirituality, agressive, belligerent + arrogant. That is the kind of life U have from constantly attempting to justify lies + oppression, the white invasion + the recurring attempts to obliterate a precious indigenous culture. That is the NT Intervention (a mini martial law) doing that again today!

  • @samorasquid Part 2. As for Infrastructure the cost in remote communities is just to high to sustain! Even if the places were looked after they are just another show. Just providing power and water to these places is around 400 times the cost of doing it to the wider community!

Sewerage etc is looked after by the CDEP workers and or an Essential Services Officer from that community.

Handouts are not keep quiet money its just feel good money for pollies not wanting to make a hard decision!

  • @samorasquid In part I agree with some of what you said. And yes Child Abuse happens in every society except most Melanesian countries where rightly child abusers are put down. I feel its the whiteys who are the biggest problem. The Do Gooders/Druggos Civil Libertarians etc think they are helping by turning a blind eye to what happens as it makes them feel good. I used to have abused Aboriginal women sleep on my verandah at night because the Aboriginal blokes were afraid of me!.

  • @Inconvenientruths Child abuse happens in all cultures and is tolerated by very few. To equate child abuse with Aboriginal culture makes no more sense than equating it with any other. These "hand-outs" you speak of are nothing more than shut-up money to keep INdigenous people quiet. You saw for yourself that infrastructure is not being looked after, with the un-fixed sweage leak in the community housing. It's cheaper/easier/lazier to do "hand-outs" than fix the real issues.

  • @ddchalmers Matey what drugs are you on?

Forget all the poor poor me shit, its time someone gave a shit about the kids, no one has for the last 30 years since it became politically incorrect to try and save Aboriginal kids from abuse.

By all means go for some more hand outs but just take 5 minutes of your self centred day to think about the fucking kids, because its quite evident piss is more important than the kids for all the whingers about the government attempts to save them (again).

  • the white setllers are the ones responsible for making this 'the richest country in the world' till the 70's when globilist immigrant bankers & The Crown , which is responsible for the crimes against the ppl ,. crimes ppl like Ned kelly, Yagan , many others fought & died fighting against . New World Order is not a joke.

What matters is if u are trying to add value to our land , ppl , all beings & country , or take away frm it , & frm wat crown has done , withdraw all consent & replace/deportgov!

  • Awesome video - thank you for filming/editing/posting this! We saw Richard and Harry in Melbourne during their speaking tour (Oct 14-16) - v.inspiring what's happening with both of their communities - both fighting the NTI in different ways.
