it is true that Raptor has basically no need in today's warfare...F-15 and F-16's can do all the required work for a much lower price tag. But the thing is - technology HAS to evolve and we must be looking for new concepts, no matter the cost of such projects. You can only admire engineers of this bird - it's a thing of beauty and a triumph of a human mind...
