This was the second time I've been to Tri-Cities in my life first time was when i was about 7 and i could never remember being able to get so close to the boats when they were racing. I'm from the Seattle area but Tri-Cities basically ruined Seafair for me because you cant get nearly as close to the boats there (unless of course you had tons of money and had a boat thats sitting on the log boom at seattle). Seafair is good for partys but if u really wanna see the boats Tri-cities is way better.

Totally agree. I'm from West side also. I will be headed to Tri Cities again this year for the races. Excellent fun times.
