A Stunning Departure From The Ordinary! Details in the architecture and appointments of this three bedroom home reflect the local timber and mining history that allowed Grants Pass to boom in the early 1900's. Yet, taken as a whole, this 15,100 sq. ft. residence with massive log beams, towering windows and flowing floorplan is distinctly contemporary. The best testament to the success of the home's design is how richly livable it is - how well it's able to nourish the mountain life of its residents with mesmerizing vistas and spaces that truly draw people together.

Guests are welcomed by the babbling brook leading you to the impressive entry. Immense log pillars frame the hand carved double doors opening to the towering two-story foyer. Granite flooring and hand carved staircase allowing access to upper/lower levels separates the entry and main living areas.

The massive floor to ceiling stone fireplace, one of a kind carved mantle, beautiful mountain views and reclaimed Heart Pine floor are the focal points of the entertainment-sized living room.

Gourmet kitchen designed for people who like to cook and entertain at the same time. An abundance of reclaimed "Old Gold" Doug Fir cabinetry, double Wolf Convection Ovens, warming drawers and Sub Zero Fridge allow you to prepare meals quickly and efficiently. Butlers pantry conveniently stores cookware, dishes and staples. Large separate dining area showcases the reclaimed African Jarrah Wood dining table, natural Elk antler chandelier and stunning views of the poolside gardens.

Trophy Room features a fully equipped Mahogany wet bar, enormous log beams spanning the entire 20' cathedral ceiling and impressive 2-story stone fireplace. French doors open to expansive granite decks - Perfect for indoor/outdoor living.

Secluded Master Retreat is a home within a home. The bedroom is the core of this retreat and at its center is a dual sided floor to ceiling fireplace shared by the sitting room with private balcony. The bath, opulent and expansive, is floored in travertine tile punctuated with river rock mosaic. The deep Jacuzzi tub gleams under a wall of windows. Two additional bedrooms feature private balconies and their own luxurious baths adorned in stone - marble and travertine.

Begin you day by heading to your fully equipped gym, complete with commercial quality aerobic and weight machines, adjoining indoor sports court - Basketball, Batting Cage, Volleyball or Racquetball the choice is yours!

The movie stars of all time can be guests in your home. This state-of-the-art Kaleidescape Media System - serves the entire home as well as the private 16 seat theater, complete with 1950's themed lobby - you'll be entertained as if you were in Steven Spielberg’s private screening room. The only difference is that when the movie ends, you can walk out your back door and see the real stars under a crystal clear Oregon sky! Encouraging outdoor entertaining with over 8,000 sq. ft. of stone patios, covered stone decks, outdoor kitchen featuring Wolf Grill and stone fireplace, sauna and stone firepit all designed around the free flowing pool featuring a 35' "log" slide, waterfalls and hot tub grotto. The entire 9 acre estate is surrounded by mature landscaping and forested nature areas. The property consists of two separate lots for future development, or to ensure complete privacy. For your guests, there is an 1,100 sf. detached guest house above the RV/Boat garage.

  • what an ugly house. The whole point of having a house in the country is to live modestly. Bigger is not better.

  • A very nice home but it is difficult to sell a home like this in Grants Pass. It remains unsold after a long period on the market.

  • While alot of people were busy getting drunk, going to casinos and wasting their money on things that doesn't matter, the owner of this place probably had his nose to the grindstone, working hard and planning for his familie's future. It looks as though HE HAS ARRIVED! I say good for him.

  • @nanceebee42 beauty is in the eye of the beholder

  • This is one of the most unique and beautiful custom homes I have seen. Stunning and well designed for the homeowner in my opinion.

Especially like the kitchen island counter and backsplash. Is that onyx?

  • @HandMeThatHammer Good point

  • @nanceebee42 You don't get it. Obviously this family enjoys a comfortable lifestyle. They choose to build and decorate their home the way they wanted too. Your idea of "more tastefully decorated and attractive" is nonsence. What are you? The taste police? Your opinion does not count. Close your mouth

  • I would love to live in a house like that.

  • It looks to me like they have more money than taste. Antler chandilliers, elk figures in the stone work and way too many trophy heads, yech! The home theater is nice. I've seen modestly priced houses that were much more tastefully decorated and attractive.

  • ooh, i would SO LOVE to live in one like that! it looks so remote and comfy..
