Plot!
Small-town lawyer Sam Bowden's life becomes torturous when Max Cady re-enters his life. Cady went to jail for 8 years after Bowden testified that Cady attacked a young woman. Initially, Cady uses his newfound knowledge of the law (learned in prison) to annoy the Bowdens, then poisons the family dog.

  • Mitchum vs. Peck. Reverend Harry Powell vs. Atticus Finch. Looks like a great showdown :)

  • trailers were awful those times, but the movies themselves much greater than today

  • brill not as sinister as the remake but for it time it was

  • They used to play this on tv when I was a kid. Didn't matter that I knew how it turned out, it scared me every time. Somehow the fact that Mitchum was so sexy made it much, much creepier.

  • @khnk222 That's what I was thinking Robert De Niro play someone other than a mobster

  • @raybradburywriter Have you seen the remake its pretty good, I usaully don't like horror films that much but it was pretty awesome. Its really weird to see Robert De Niro as a rapist physcopath instead of a mobster.

  • Mitch's face at 0:56 - gotta love it. He just doesn't give a damn!

  • watch?v=AlLvl3w7I2k

  • This looks really really good. Do you have the whole movie? if you do could you post it? Thanks:)
