@AIDSandHONEY, Personally I don't care what people follow as long as they are not out hurting people around them or them self's. I just don't deal with such people with that a mindset because there sight is just to narrow to see all that is there. My one friend that I was referring to, the only reason why we are still friends is because we don't talk about religion.

@Crowinblack2001 That is simply my opinion. Everyone is free to follow their own path :)

@Crowinblack2001 Oh i see. Well that is a shame because the beauty of wicca is having both sides. Purely acknowledging the Goddess seems a bit disrespectful to the God/male side. Just like only acknowledging the God. Like i said i dealt with this when I first started studying because i was in a way running from the patriarchy. But I'm now trying to find the balance and attune myself with the god as well. I don't see how matriarchy is better than patriarchy. Balance is where the beauty is.

@AIDSandHONEY, Not just mostly focus but focus on nothing but the Goddess aspects. From the ones that I have had dealings with they have had nothing to do with God aspects at all. They did nothing but trade a religion that only deals with a God for a religion that only deals with a Goddess. One of the people that I am referring about I have known personally for years, and when I say years I mean more like over 10 years.

@Crowinblack2001 Are you referring to Wiccans who mostly focus on the goddess aspects? I once heard someone put it fairly well, that many people who first find wicca are so mesmerized by the idea of a Goddess (because they are used to being part of a patriarchal religion) that they overlook the God. It takes them time to accept and embrace both God and Goddess. I know that was my case.

It is Sun, Father, Sage.... Alot people only sees the goddess yes but there is a fine line way alot of wiccans aka Witches only see the Goddess.... Because christ hugers only think about god and they never say anything about the goddess. So in witch craft we think more outside the box and call upon the goddess and not the god. But that is the was i was trainned threw out my years in the craft..... Blessings.... Charles: Witch Elder.

Merry Meet! You are right, this information is not mentioned in the books about Wicca, this is new to me, thank you for sharing it.
interesting, however i see God differently. i see him as having either dual or four forms. the first being the young god, then the old god. then the four forms being the hero/knight, the lover/warrior, the king/judge/father and the sorcorer/sage/sacrifice. the hero is equated with the maiden. the lover is God as consort to Goddess. the king is lord of justice and authority. and the sorcorer being equated with the crone. these correspond to the seasons, as Goddess corresponds with the moon.

@RedDragon033195 - This video was about the three major faces/stages of the God that we see in the Sabbats. The other forms of the God you mentioned are archetypes and there are many more than just four. They represent different aspects of the God in relation to humanity. They exist to help us understand the divine masculine in all of us. They represent different paths we take as we progress through life and provide a role model of what that phase represents.

@RedDragon033195 - If those phases hold meaning to you then use them in place of the ones I have here.

OH! anytime I have talked about the triple aspect if male in paganism it has always been the youth / warrior / sage. Just though I would add on there! Love you George!

@athairfiachdubh - Hey there! Nice to hear from you! The Triple God is the male version of the Triple Goddess. I don't see how you can have balance without that. Love you back! :)
