When Charlotte Martin sings the song, I can tell that it is a cover tune. Harriett Wheeler makes the song her own creation. What an ethereal sound! When she sings the verses, she makes you believe that she lived every word of the song.

This is the best version of this song. The Stones were great, as was Charlotte Martin, but The Sundays, especially Harriet Wheeler and her beautiful voice, brought this song to the top.

This is one of the most beautiful songs by the Stones. But if you compare it with Harriet singing voice, the Stones sounds like frustrated cats, but I do like cats to.

I first heard the song when I watched the movie Fear with Reese Witherspoon and Mark Wahlberg back in the mid-90s. This version of the song fits perfectly with the roller coaster scene in the movie. Reese plays a convincing innocent girl who longs to be a woman and experience passion and love as an adult. This version of the song and that scene together are incredible. The vocalist in this version is incredible. She has the youthful voice that fits the lyrics.
