I love guns myself. That being said, I find all this obsession with self defense and preparedness (SHTF or whatever) pretty fucking ridiculous. You're all a bunch of little kids and you're not fucking around with toys. These are implements of death, and i don't think most of you know the first thing about death. You remind me of all the kids playing their xbox wanting to go to war. its just unrealistic. carry a gun if you're prepared to live and die by it.
I'm thinking about getting a hi point, and i was wondering, how many rounds did you put through that hi point, and how many malfunctions did you experience.
My first dedicated carry gun was a Taurus PT-145. That is what I carry most often. When I need to carry something lighter, I carry either a Kel-Tec PF9, or a Glock 26. The Taurus was a nightmare of a gun and had to go back to the factory 5 times before they agreed to replace it. The new one has been flawless. The PF9 had some mag problems but they sent the parts for free. Best CS I of any gun company. The Glock is boring. It just goes bang. I think .40 is an advertising gimmick.
I agree with everything you said, I use whichever one I have on me or closest to me in the house, good point s you made...

@BucketPukes1969 You do realize that generally people buy guns to protect themselves and their families right?
