wow... I expected not to like this, but it's awesome...it justs proves jimmy rogers was the original OG...hahaha

I had mixed feelings of Waylons Jennings cover of T for Texas as well so I am pretty picky about my JR....lol

One word of advice: Go easy on your critics. As harsh or hostile as they may seem, they can turn out to be your most loyal allies, and their words may change your life. I'm only speaking from my own limited experience in this goofy world.

I consider myself to be a Jimmie Rodgers "purists". My tendency is to be very disapproving of any cover or other interpretations of his songs that deviates too far from the original. I fully expected to react the way you did, xhexumx. Also, I am not a rap fan, at all.

Having said all of that, I absolutely loved this video! I'd like to think that Jimmie would be honored and amused. Since I'm approaching YouTube's character limit, I'd be happy to move this discussion to a different forum :-)

Thanks man I really wanted to get the point that I really love Jimmie Rodgers but in my form of music which is hip hop you can't really cover his songs. But I went for it and I thought it turned out alright.

To be honest I tried. Lol it didn't work out it just sounded goofy plus the best was to fast for a jimmie style yodeling.
