Obama's Whistle Stop Tour Train

WATCH IN HD.On 01-17-2009, President elect Barack Obama had a Whistle Stop tour from Philadelphia to Washington DC.He we are at Folcroft station just a few miles south of Philly. The 1st train seen is an Inspection Train with the Corridor Clipper on the rear, followed by Barack Obama's Train with private car Georgia 300 on the rear, followed by another train(Im guessing more security) with Amtrak business car Beech Grove on the rear. Although it was extremly cold, about 11 degree's, I had a great time seeing the trains and seeing history. I voted for Obama. Hopefully here's to 4 years of rebuild and prosperity......May your tracks be clear, and your signals be green....

Hi everyone, and thanks for all the kind words. I thought the event was put together very well and everyone near me we very happy and excited. I havent seen America like this in America, so it felt very good. I understand that Amtrak chose the 2 diesel locomotives pulling Obama's train which were the # 44 and 120 because he will be the 44th pres and will be sworn into office on January 20 120.

Thank you for sharing your personal experience!!!!!!!!! It is so uplifting to see the small groups, and in some cases lone individuals, standing by the tracks to witness a fleeting glimpse of history as it passes by. It brings such a more personal sense to what is happen to America right now. America is SO, SO READY!! America is WAITING!!

i assume people would have noticed hat the police only say 'clear the platform' on the second train, kinda says something, and why the three trains, and what are the cars on the lead train, and why two engines for two cars on train 1, and i think that the presidential train should have even more horn than the others.
