Con Te Partiro (Time To Say Goodbye) #8- David Foster & Friends featuring Jackie Evancho

Jackie Evancho singing "Con te Partiro / Time To Say Goodbye" (8th song Jackie sings, and last song) at David Foster and Friends concert at the Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas on December 29th, 2011.

Jackie duets with Cody Carey, a new artist that David Foster has found. Cody is 19 years old, and is expected to be as big as Josh Groban in the next few years.

The quality is terrible because I had seats in the very back, but all audio is as you would hear it there (their sound mixers has quite a few screw-ups).

You should note that Jackie did have a cold that night (as did David Foster), and she had recently arrived from Pittsburgh, so a concert ending at 11pm here is ending at 2am her time, which for an 11-year old girl is pretty late (even for me it's late).

There was no announcement nor was there any sign that said there was no recording allowed. However, if the Evancho's or the Foster's wish for me to remove the videos, I will be more than glad to do so.

For being under the weather that she says she was, she did a very wonderful performance. I'm just a little bit disapointed that she doesn't get the press that she so deserves.

@Alcola100 I am careful to agree on that. On one hand, I want Jackie to get the press and recognition she deserves - as she is truly amazing and really nothing today can compare. However, on the other hand I want Jackie to have her private life, and from history the press is a major contribution to destroying stars - which is the last thing I want to happen to Jackie.

Although this video gives a wonderful example of Jackie's talent, it does not come close to actually witnessing her perform this in person. There were at least 10,000 of us who were fortunate to be a part of the Jackie Evancho experience at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. I hope everyone who understands what Jackie really means to music will have the chance to see her in person.

Thank you so very much for this video, Jackie is always willing to give us everything she has and more. Hers is a singularly beautiful voice, she has great poise for her craft and extreme discipline.We're all playing catchup to take in her ever revealing talent. Hey, shes 11, how can I say that ? @jackieevanchovideos Let's consider what she needs: a happy life with her family, time to play as the little girl she is, and to sing, obviously. Now look what she's got: she's selling records like doughnuts, her family seems to be guarding her well and be good together, and she gets all support for singing her heart out.

So it's just my opinion, but I'd say it's perfect if the press leaves her alone.
