@bobd1720 You needed to man-up. You stood up for yourself. That matters most. It's better to stand up for yourself and get pounded than it is to avoid a challenge. Long before I studied judo, when a girl challenged me, I stood up for myself. I got roughed up, but I also got in their face. They respected me for standing up for myself, even though I was a lousy fighter.

My last fight when I was 14 I was mounted like that and he pounded away at my face. Someone pulled him off of me or he would have knocked my teeth out or put me in the hospital. I've been afraid to fight ever since and have chickened out of at least 25 fights.
